Vanessa Trump confirmed on Friday that recent medical tests indicate she no longer has breast cancer. The former spouse of Donald Trump Jr, age 48, posted a short video to the Instagram account of her eldest daughter, Kai. In the footage, she stated that her test results came back clear, marking the end of her cancer diagnosis.

Trump disclosed her initial diagnosis in April of this year. She made the news public in May, noting that she had already undergone surgery and was developing a treatment plan with her medical team. The video serves as a preview for a longer YouTube release scheduled for Saturday, where she and Kai discuss breast cancer awareness and prevention strategies.

Kai Trump wrote in the post caption that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. She described the period as a time to focus on early detection, education, and support for affected individuals. The caption also mentioned that her mother sat down with Dr. Nicole Saphier to review the journey and learn more about prevention methods.

The post generated more than 20,000 likes and hundreds of comments. Among those responding was American singer and media personality Mary Millben, who offered support and good wishes in the comments section. The video highlights Trump's personal experience with the disease and her ongoing efforts to discuss health topics publicly.

According to the American Cancer Society, the average risk for a woman in the US developing breast cancer is approximately 1 in 8, or 13 percent. The organization reports that the disease accounts for 30 percent of all new female cancers diagnosed each year. These statistics provide context for the frequency of the diagnosis Trump experienced earlier this year.

Medical data indicates that surgery cures most breast cancers. When residual disease is present, treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and endocrine therapy can reduce long-term risks. The field continues to see advancements, including targeted therapies for early-stage cases and more precise radiotherapy options. Trump’s update aligns with these general medical trajectories for patient recovery.

Trump separated from Donald Trump Jr in 2018. They share five children together. She announced in 2025 that she had begun dating professional golfer Tiger Woods. Her recent public update comes as she continues to build a media presence alongside her daughter, focusing on health and lifestyle content.
